What are your rates?

Rates are $200 for an individual, 45-minute session. Rates are $300 for a couples, 70-minute session.

Why do you do sliding scale?

As a woman of color, I believe that therapy should be affordable to communities of color who are typically underserved. My sliding scale is my attempt to ensure that I offer affordable mental health services to all people.

How can I book time with you?

I would be more than happy to discuss when we schedule a free phone consultation. Click the Reach Out button below.

Have you taken any precautions against COVID-19?

Yes. At the moment, I am only offering virtual therapy until the “pause” in New York City is no longer in effect. Once the “pause” has been lifted, we will assess whether in-person sessions are feasible.

How often will we meet?

Weekly.

Why do I need therapy?

If you are on my site, you’ve probably been thinking about it for a while. Therapy is a personal journey, and everyone has to come to it at the right time. If you’ve been struggling for a while or believe that you have some healing to do, therapy is for you.

Do you accept medical insurance?

I do not accept insurance but will happily complete invoices for out-of-network billing if your insurance plan covers out-of-network mental health benefits. Once you have confirmed your out-of-network benefits with your insurance plan, we can discuss how you would like your invoices sent to your insurance company, e.g., directly from me after our session or from you. Although your payment will still happen on the day of your session, it minimizes your busywork and efforts.
